Annick Born

With a PhD in Art History from Ghent University, Annick Born has held various positions throughout her career, including that of curator. In this capacity, she has developed various cultural mediation initiatives, as well as the conservation and promotion of collections. She is also involved in conservation and ethical issues related to the safeguarding of cultural heritage.

 

Annick is a member of the Royal Academy of Archaeology and Art History of Belgium and  board member of ICOM Belgium Wallonia-Brussels and the Belgian Committee of the Blue Shield.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2025, Annick Born will join the pitching session "Care to share: Museum practices for wellbeing" on Tuesday, 28 October.
