Anna Väänänen

Anna Väänänen works as a museum educator at the Museum of Play in Espoo, Finland. She has specialized in cultural environment studies, art education, and museology during her studies. Anna works with museum public work, museum education and event production. 

She especially focused on developing museum early childhood education for children under the age of 3 years and has been actively involved in the field of Finnish heritage education, as a member of the election committee of the Finnish Association for Heritage Education since 2021. 

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2025, Anna Väänänen will join the pitching session "Care to share: Museum practices for wellbeing" on Tuesday, 28 October.
