Isabelle Vanhoonacker

Isabelle Vanhoonacker has got a Master Degree in History of Arts, specialized in Contemporary arts (ULB) and a Master in Dutch-English and Spanish Translation. From 1995 till 2006 she worked at the Brussels Opera house of La Monnaie in the educational department and as the director of the opera’s Friends’ association. In 2007 Isabelle started her career in the Royal Museums of Fine Arts , first as head of the educational department, and since 2011 as Operation Director to the Public services Department, including the educational department.

 

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2025, Isabelle Vanhoonacker will join the pitching session "Care to share: Museum practices for wellbeing" on Tuesday, 28 October.
