NEMO spoke at international museum conference in South Korea

On 10 October 2024, NEMO Policy Officer Elizabeth Wilde was an invited speaker at the international conference 'Heaven, earth, human, museum: Conserving the earth environment and linguistic diversity' in Seoul, South Korea.

At the conference, hosted by the National Hanguel Museum, Wilde spoke alongside museum professionals from around the globe. They discussed how museums can operate more sustainably and how climate change can impact the loss of endangered languages. Wilde introduced findings from the 2022 NEMO survey and report ‘Museums in the climate crisis’ to the audience, highlighting the power and confidence-building of networks.
