Museums can join the creative and cultural sector in acting on climate change. At the breakfast participants will learn about Julie's Bicycle, a charity in the United Kingdom that for over 10 years has established a methodology for environmental change through culture, and developed the Creative Industry Green Tools (IG Tools). IG Tools are a set of free online carbon calculators currently used by more than 3000 arts and cultural organisations worldwide. They allow organisations to calculate and understand the impacts of their buildings and venues, office, traveling exhibitions, tours or events. The Creative Green services enable institutions and individuals to embed environmental sustainability into their work.
