Vasyl Rozhko is the founder of Tustan Historical Cultural Preserve (Ukraine) and the head of the same-name civic organization concerned with preservation and development of the fortress itself and the cultural landscape of Urych. Vasy is the co-founder and coordinator of the Heritage Emergency Response Initiative, HERI, which was established in 2022 to support heritage workers and heritage at risk after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
From 2015-2016, Vasyl Rozhko was a Head of Museum Department in the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. He was among the first initiators of the Maidan Museum, together with Ihor Poshyvailo and others.
At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2022, Vasyl Rozhko will contribute with a digital presentation in the session "Agility in Crisis" on Monday 10 October.
