Inês has an intense activity as a cultural entrepreneur, professor and activist in cultural heritage, museum mediation and management. She, Ana and Daniela created Mapa das Ideias in 1999. Today, the company is an international reference, joining three significant fields of activity - mediation, research and facilitation in national and European projects, museum management and visitor experience.

Inês has also co-founded the non-profit "A Reserva" that focuses on arts, cultural heritage, global citizenship and sustainable development. As president of Culture Action Europe since 2021, Inês has a strong focus on membership and the strategical and policy dimensions.  

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2022,  Inês Bettencourt da Câmara will moderate the session “Destination innovation” on Tuesday 11 October.
