Alessandra Gariboldi is President of Fondazione Fitzcarraldo (Italy) and a senior researcher and consultant in the fields of visitor studies and cultural policies and projects evaluation, with a primary focus on cultural participation and democracy. She led and contributed to more than 80 research and development projects in the last 20 years. 

As Head of the Transnational Projects Unit, she managed several EU cooperation projects and has been involved as a trainer and adviser in some European Capitals of Culture, such as Matera2019, Rijeka2020 and Elefsina2023. 

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2022, Alessandra Gariboldi will be interviewed in the session “Failing upwards” on Tuesday 11 October.
